DCH Health System is known to many around its home in Tuscaloosa and the communities across West Alabama as “Don’t Come Here.” This story closely examines some patients’ experiences and the numbers reflected in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for DCH. The most recent safety grade reflects DCH’s performance in the fall of 2022. This story highlights the different kinds of perspectives that locals have about DCH ranging from University of Alabama students to previous DCH workers.
